Dear Ms.Claire,
I am reading a book called The Boy thats upside. It is about a boy who does not know inglish he only knows spanish and he has a beutiful voice his teacher told him he had a beutiful singing voice. He also made a finger panting that has suns and tomatos as cars it was a funny book thats what I am saying about the book.
Hi, Ms. Clare, I am reading Diary Of A Wimmpy Kid. I love it so far it is my favorite book. But i also read Walk Two Moons. It is very sad, have you read it? I would love to hear what you have to say about it.
Im reading a book called Missing, It is about a boy that is always lying. ill tell you more later.
What great comments, everybody!
Robert: They are all full of adventure!
Alison: I can't wait to hear about New Found Land -- especially since it's National Poetry Month. Do you think there are one or two poems in particular that you would recommend? I'd like to put them up in the library.
Ray:: I can't wait until Bone 6, 7, 8, and 9 are in the library! Next year, for sure!
Andrea: I think El nino de cabeza is a wonderful book. The author, Juan Felipe Herrera, also writes poems. He has another book that we will be getting in the library called Los Meros Meros Remateros. I'll let you know when it comes in!
Savon: I did read Walk Two Moons! When I was working in my first library, I decided to read every single book that had ever won the Newbery Medal. Unfortunately, a lot of those books are pretty sad and intense! I had just read a whole bunch of depressing Newbery winners in a row, and then I finished Walk Two Moons.
You can imagine what happened. All those sad books -- one right after another -- and then that ending pushed me over the edge. I burst into tears and cried all evening. Then I decided not to read any more Newbery winners OR any more sad books for the rest of the summer.
It was a good decision... I needed a break! But I still think that Walk Two Moons is a beautiful book, and sometimes it's nice to read a book that makes you cry. I recommend it to people who are looking for a good book, but I usually tell them in advance that they should be prepared for some sad parts!
If you really liked Diary of a Wimpy Kid, I have some good news for you: the third book is coming out sometime next year! As soon as I see it in the bookstore, I'll get a copy for the library.
Ajanee: I can't wait to hear more!
Keep me updated! I love to hear about what you all are reading.

I am also reading Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and the Bone series. They are both excellent, and make me laugh a lot. :-D
